In the early 1950s, David Sud migrated from Poland to Toronto, Canada, igniting his entrepreneurial journey. Despite lacking real estate experience, his vision and passion for construction drove him to develop his first project, a duplex. David’s dedication, integrity, and honesty laid the foundation for a thriving real estate empire. Now under his sons’ leadership, Camelback continues to flourish in Canada and the US.

The Camelback Family actively contributes to the community, assisting many charities, organizations, and individuals. They work with the United Jewish Federation (UJA) on endowment projects, donate land to the One Kenton Alzheimer’s Centre, and provide significant support to the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation.

Camelback is a second-generation commercial and residential real estate development firm with operations in Canada and the United States. Over the past 65 years, Camelback portfolio has grown to include prominent retail shopping centres, condominium buildings, apartment communities, and urban mixed-use projects.
